Refund & Returns Policy

At Inmed Pharmacy, we take great care to ensure all products and prescriptions are handled according to professional medical and pharmaceutical standards. Because of the nature of healthcare products, we follow strict refund and return guidelines to protect our patients’ health and safety.


1. General Policy

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, medicines, prescription drugs, and healthcare products cannot be returned or refunded once they have been dispensed or collected — unless they meet the exceptions listed below.
This policy is in accordance with South Africa’s Medicines and Related Substances Act and Consumer Protection Act (CPA).


2. Eligible Returns

You may return or request a refund only if:

  • You received the incorrect product or prescription;

  • The product was damaged or defective on arrival;

  • The product was sold past its expiry date.

All eligible returns must be reported to our customer support team within 48 hours of receiving your order or product.


3. Ineligible Returns

We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • Opened or used medications, vitamins, or supplements

  • Prescription medicines dispensed specifically for you

  • Items without original packaging or proof of purchase

  • Services such as consultation fees, medical assessments, or administration charges


4. Refund Process

If your return request meets the eligibility criteria:

  1. Contact our support team at 031-702-3323 or inbengovender@vodamail.co.za  within 48 hours.

  2. Provide proof of purchase, photos (if damaged), and the reason for return.

  3. Once approved, we will arrange collection or advise how to return the product.

  4. Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days after inspection and confirmation.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless otherwise arranged.


5. Consultation and Service Fees
  • Fees paid for doctor consultations (in-person or online) are non-refundable once the appointment has taken place.

  • If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment.

  • Missed appointments without notice may still be billed.


6. Online Orders and Delivery

If your order was delivered incorrectly or arrived damaged:

  • Do not use the product.

  • Report the issue to our team immediately with a photo and order number.
    We will review and, if applicable, replace or refund the item according to section 2 above.
