At Inmed Pharmacy, we are committed to ensuring that all orders are processed and delivered safely, promptly, and in accordance with healthcare standards. This policy explains how we handle order processing, delivery, and collection.
1. Order Processing Time
Orders placed before 2:00 PM (Monday–Friday) are typically processed on the same day.
Orders placed after this time, or on weekends/public holidays, will be processed on the next working day.
Prescription medication orders may take additional time to verify and prepare, as they require review and approval by a licensed pharmacist or doctor.
2. Delivery Options
We offer the following delivery methods for your convenience:
2.1 Local Delivery (Durban and Surrounding Areas)
Local deliveries are fulfilled within 1–3 working days after processing.
Delivery times may vary depending on product availability and courier schedules.
Customers will receive a confirmation email or SMS once the order has been dispatched.
2.2 National Delivery (South Africa-Wide)
Orders outside of Durban are shipped using trusted courier partners.
Estimated delivery time: 2–5 working days (depending on location).
Remote or outlying areas may experience slightly longer delivery times.
2.3 Click & Collect (In-Store Pickup)
You may choose to collect your order from our pharmacy during business hours.
You will be notified once your order is ready for collection.
Please bring valid identification and your order confirmation when collecting.
3. Shipping Fees
Delivery fees are calculated based on your location and order size.
Any applicable delivery costs will be displayed during checkout before payment.
Free delivery promotions (if available) will be clearly stated on the Website.
4. Prescription Orders
For all prescription medication:
A valid prescription issued by a registered medical practitioner is required.
Prescriptions can be uploaded via our secure website form or emailed directly to our pharmacy.
Orders will only be dispatched after the prescription has been reviewed and approved by our pharmacist.
5. Delivery Delays
We make every effort to deliver orders within the stated timeframes. However, delays may occur due to:
Stock availability or supplier shortages
Courier service interruptions
Public holidays or unforeseen weather conditions
Inmed Pharmacy will notify you promptly of any delays and provide updates on expected delivery times.
6. Risk and Ownership
Once your order is dispatched, risk passes to you upon delivery. Please ensure someone is available to receive and sign for your order at the specified address.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect:
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Provide your order number and photo evidence if applicable.
We will investigate and arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy.
